Ironically, according to the AMPEQ Everett Hull commitment, Gault established Eminence, hope to maintain three 18-inch speakers every day. However, having done some research, 1967 was right around the very beginning of the Eminence speaker company, having grown out of the old CTS company, so it's possible these are among the very first Eminence speakers ever made.īoth speakers look like CTS speakers, especially those commonly found in late '60s Kustom amps, with a chrome dome (just like JBLs) with a black dot in the center. I don't know if they are original, but they do look like they are. I bought the cab last year, and it came with these speakers. These are two alnico speakers from a 1967 Bassman cab.
